Assid

Jennie Assid of Butler will celebrate her 90th birthday with an open house from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the home of her granddaughter, Cyann Barlett, 301 Bruin Road, Petrolia.

The former Jennie Harkless was born July 18, 1917, in New Castle. She married Steve Schuster in 1934, Junior Robertson in 1946 and John Assid in 1952. All are deceased.

She has two children, Jennie Robertson of Butler and Melody Ohland of Mountainview, Wyo. Two sons, Steve Schuster and Fred "Tom" Schuster are deceased.

She also has 21 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Assid is retired from Marriot.

She is a member of Martinsburg Church of Bruin.
