The Kennedys in 1957

Karl and Theresa Kennedy of Evans City will celebrate 50 years of marriage with a private family dinner Saturday in Pittsburgh.

The former Theresa Cowell married Kennedy July 20, 1957, at First Baptist Church in Evans City.

They have four children, Marilyn Kennedy of Houston, Texas; Kathy Kennedy of San Fransisco; Karl Kennedy of Fraser, Mich.; and James Kennedy of Zelienople.

They also have five grandchildren.Kennedy is retired from AK Steel.Mrs. Kennedy, a homemaker, is also retired.The couple belongs to Christian Community Church of Mars.
