Wendell L. McHaddon, 66, of Manor Township, Armstrong County, died Sunday at his home.

Born Nov. 14, 1940, in East Franklin Township, Armstrong County, he was the son of Wilbert Lewis "Mac" and Martha Bailey McHaddon.

He was a member, elder and trustee of the West Glade Run Presbyterian Church.

Mr. McHaddon had worked at the Bauer Co. for 26 years, and since 1996, he was self-employed hauling livestock and doing dump-truck work.

Surviving are his wife, Joan P. Cogley McHaddon, whom he married Sept. 14, 1962; a son, Wayne Lewis McHaddon of Kittanning; three daughters, Pamela Bureau of Worthington, Shelley Shay of Kittanning and Marsha Duckstein of Winchester, Va.; and nine grandchildren. A brother, Leonard McHaddon of Akron, Ohio; and three sisters, Josephine Lukehart, Shirley Graham and Clara Mae McHaddon, all of Kittanning, also survive.

A daughter is deceased.

McHaddon, who died Sunday, June 10, 2007, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Mantini Funeral Home</B>, 701 Sixth Ave., Ford City. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Hindman officiating. Burial will be at the West Glade Run Cemetery.Donations may be made to the West Glade Run Presbyterian Church or the Diabetes Association.
