Sharon and Jason Noto

Sharon Niggel of Butler and Jason Noto of Evans City were united in marriage at 1:30 p.m. June 2 at Harmony-Zelienople United Methodist Church. The Rev. John Jeffers officiated. A reception followed at the American Legion in Lyndora.

The bride is the daughter of Ronald and Joanne Niggel of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are John and Cindy Noto of Evans City.

The maid of honor was Andrea Rauch of Bridgeville. Bridesmaids included Katie Wolensky of Lakewood, Ohio; Jennifer McCall of Butler; Cindy Collona and Dana Noto, both of Evans City; and Alicia Carbin of Virginia Beach, Va. The flower girl was Erin McCarthy of Evans City.

Performing the duties of best man was Charles Shipton of Evans City. Ushers included Jason Ratay of Mentor, Ohio; Matthew Ratay and Jeff Ratay, both of Renfrew; Scott Davideck of Bethesda, Md.; and Daren Bukowski of Zelienople. The ring bearer was Wyatt Yates of Butler.

The bride is a 2000 graduate of Butler High School and a 2004 graduate of Slippery Rock University.

The bridegroom graduated in 2000 from Seneca Valley High School and in 2006 from Slippery Rock University. He works for the Youth Development Center in New Castle.

Following a honeymoon trip to Maui, Hawaii, the couple is making their home in Evans City.
