Paul and Ruby Lindey

Paul and Ruby Lindey of Slippery Rock celebrated 50 years of marriage recently with an open house at West Liberty United Methodist Church and a family dinner at Garden Gate restaurant in Prospect.

The former Ruby Ripley married Lindey June 7, 1957, at West Liberty United Methodist Church.

They have three children, Cindy Lindey and Jeffrey Lindey, both of Slippery Rock, and Polly Lindey of Greenville.

They also have three grandchildren.

Lindey works as a farmer.

Mrs. Lindey is employed as a merchandiser.

The couple belongs to West Liberty United Methodist Church.
