<B>Eric West</B> graduated from Bowling Green State University recently, receiving a bachelor's degree in music education.While at the university, he was named a University Professors Scholar from 2003 to 2007 and a Dearborne Scholar in 2006. He served as president of the university's chapter of the Ohio Collegiate Music Educators Association for the 2004-2005 school year and as president of the university's chapter of the American Choral Directors Association for the 2006-2007 school year.A2003 graduate of Butler High School, he is the son of Ralph and Kathy West of Butler.West served as the director of music for Faith United Methodist Church in Gibsonburg, Ohio, from 2005 to 2007. He is currently employed as the assistant director of choral activities for Cinco Ranch High School, part of the Katy Independent School District in Katy, Texas.———<B>Allison Hearn</B> graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh recently, receiving a bachelor of arts degree in communication sciences and disorders.While at the university, she also received certificates in American Sign Language and Conceptual Foundations of Medicine. Hearn was a member of the Golden Key honor society, the National Student Speech, Hearing and Language Association and the Kappa Delta Sorority. <B>Cody Switzer</B> graduated cum laude from Allegheny College recently, receiving a bachelor of arts degree in English.While at the college, he received the Cornerstone Award for exceptional contributions to the college and community and first place in the Collegiate Keystone Awards in the spot news category.He served on the staff of "The Campus"newspaper for four years, serving as editor-in-chief during his senior year. He was also named an Alden Scholar for four years and was a member of the rugby club, which won the union championship and competed in the national championships.The son of Tim and Lori Switzer of Chicora, he is a 2003 graduate of Karns City High School.Switzer is currently working as an internet and police reporter intern for the "Erie Times News."———<B>Anthony Bury</B> of Cowansville graduated from the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford recently with a degree in history and political science.———<B>Jenna Beblo</B> of Cabot received a Bachelor of Science degree in fashion merchandising from Ashland University.———<B>Lee Saville-Andree</B> of Mars graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Music degree in music education at Susquehanna University.He is the son of Hal Saville and Cindy Andree.———

<B>John Evankovich III</B> graduated summa cum laude with bachelor's degrees in biotechnology and biology from Gannon University in Erie.While attending Gannon, he received the Academic Excellence Award in biotechnology, Alexander Bloch Scholar Award in molecular pharmacology from Rosswell Cancer Institute in Buffalo, N.Y., a Duratz Undergraduate Research Grant from Gannon, Gannon Merit Scholarship, a John Mark Gannon Award for Academic Excellence and the GLIAC All Academic Honors for 2003 to 2006.He was on Gannon's dean's list for eight semesters and was a member of the cross-country team.He will begin studies this fall at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.Evankovich is the son of John and Mitzi Evankovich of Karns City and Jeff and Susan Strobel of Chicora.———

<B>Shawna Nixon</B> graduated from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine School of Pharmacy recently, earning a doctor of pharmacy degree.While at the college, she was a member of the Phi Lambda Sigma Honorary and earned the Eli Lilly Ethics, Leadership and Scholarship Award and academic scholarships from the college.The daughter of Steven and Rose Grossi of Butler, she is a 1997 graduate of Butler High School and a 2001 graduate of Slippery Rock University.Nixon resides in Butler with her son. She is employed by Giant Eagle Pharmacy.———<B>Lyndanne Blahovec</B> graduated cum laude with a bachelor of arts degree in chemistry and biochemistry recently from La Salle University.While at the university she was a member of the Alpha Epsilon Delta Health Professions Honor Society and served as president of the National Collegiate Honor Society. <B>Shawn O'Leary</B> of Butler recently completed a bachelor's degree in computer science at Grove City College.While in college he was a drummer in the marching band, concert band and jazz ensemble.He works as a computer applications developer for Leed's in New Kensington.———<B>Alaina Ambrose</B> of Seven Fields graduated first in her class from the Department of Computer Science in the College of Engineering at Virginia Tech.———<B>Donald Blahovec</B> of Harmony graduated cum laude from California (Pa.)
