Ruth and Paul Miller

Paul "Red" and Ruth Miller of Palm Harbor, Fla., celebrated 50 years of marriage recently with a family dinner at the home of their daughter, Linda Bridges, in Clayton, N.C.

The former Ruth Parker married Miller on June 1, 1957, at First English Lutheran Church in Chicora.

They have three children, Rick Miller of Chicora and Jean Fillhart and Linda Bridges, both of Clayton.

They also have two grandchildren.

Miller is retired from Pullman Standard. He is also the former owner of Miller's Gun Shop in Chicora and a former Pennsylvania Game Deputy. He currently works as a security manager at Tarpon Cove/Mariner Village in Tarpon Springs, Fla.

Mrs. Miller worked as a district justice in Chicora and for the County of Butler.

The Millers are members of Bayside Community Church in Safety Harbor, Fla.
