Thomas R. Shaffer
Thomas R. "Tom" Shaffer, 67, of Zelienople died Wednesday at UPMC Passavant, Cranberry Township.
Born Aug. 10, 1939, in Rockton, Clearfield County, he was the son of Lillian Burke Shaffer of Treasure Lake, Clearfield County, and the late Hubert Shaffer.
Mr. Shaffer was a heavy equipment operator with the Operating Engineers Local 66.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Charlotte Daniels Shaffer, whom he married Aug. 14, 1965; a daughter, Missy Green and her husband, Tony, of Ellwood City; two brothers, John Shaffer and his wife, Marie, of Rockton, and Henry Shaffer and his wife, Linda, of Treasure Lake; two sisters, Nancy Males and her husband, Dick, and Sally Hamlin and her husband, Joe, all of Treasure Lake; and an aunt, Jane Harvey of Sykesville, Jefferson County.

Grandview Ave., Zelienople. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Wayne Schar officiating.
