Sunday — Michael Trent of Murrysville, Westmoreland County, told police that someone between 5 and 6 p.m. stole two canvas folding chairs he had placed on East Cunningham Street; the chairs are valued at $100 each.11:30 p.m. Saturday — Torran King, 27, was arrested for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend, Stella Alcantara, 32, of Butler during a domestic dispute at his Wagner Avenue home. King was arraigned on a charge of simple assault as well as a protection from abuse order, and placed in the Butler County Prison.12:07 a.m. Saturday — Michael Charpentier, 37, was arrested for allegedly assaulting his wife, Terri Charpentier, during a domestic dispute at the couple's Whippo Avenue home. Terri Charpentier suffered minor injuries.Michael Charpentier was arraigned on a charge of simple assault, and placed in the Butler County Prison on $2,500 bond.9:52 p.m. Friday — Jacob Donald Turner, 27, of Butler Township is accused of breaking into a pickup truck at the East Patterson Avenue home of Terry Penrod. Police said Turner stole five cans of snuff and the vehicle owner's manual.Turner is charged with loitering and prowling at night, theft from a vehicle and disorderly conduct.
11:15 p.m. Saturday — Charles Biedenbach, 40, of Fenelton faces charges of violating a protection from abuse order and harassment, after allegedly punching Stacey Bergbigler, 33, of Fenleton at a Juniper Lane home in Clearfield Township.6:58 p.m. Saturday — Acar driven by Marjorie Wagle, 68, of Natrona Heights, Allegheny County, struck a large fence post and traveled into a pasture along Bonniebrook Road near Route 356 in Jefferson Township.Wagle and a passenger, Arthur Wagle Jr., 72, of Natrona Heights, were treated for minor injuries at Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.4:20 p.m. Saturday — Michael Mershimer, 41, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 356 near Mikan Pontiac in Butler Township. Police also cited Mershimer for careless driving and three other vehicle code violations.2 p.m. Saturday — Cars driven by Genavieve Brown, 18, of Butler and Edward Montgomery, 53, of Slippery Rock collided at Routes 8 and 138 in Clay Township. An unidentified girl riding in Brown's car was treated for minor injuries at Butler Memorial Hospital.7:55 p.m. Friday — Cars driven by Cody Williams, 19, of Mercer and Kimberly Antonetti, 19, of Butler collided at Route 422 and Unionville Road in Franklin Township. Police cited Williams for a stop sign violation.Friday — An unknown thief damaged Tracy Friskorn's trailer on County Line Road in Marion Township while stealing various items from the residence between Wednesday and Friday.Friday — Someone stole the battery from Mark Geibel's Ford box van while it was parked on Route 8 in Brady Township between 8 a.m. Tuesday and noon Friday.Friday — Someone stole Thomas McMillin's Club Car golf cart from the Slippery Rock Campground in Slippery Rock Township between June 19 and 29. The cart has a diamond placard on the front, the number D331 on the back, a roof and white tire rims.6 p.m. Thursday — The unknown driver of unidentified green, sport utility vehicle struck a utility pole along Mercer Road near Route 8 in Center Township, and drove off after the crash.
