Kistner

Jacob L. "Jack" Kistner, 88, of Zelienople, formerly of Fombell, died Sunday morning at UPMC Passavant Cranberry.

Born April 16, 1919, in Marion Township, Beaver County, he was the son of Lewis and Bertha Habberman Kistner.

He was a member of the North Sewickley Presbyterian Church and the American Legion Post 474 in Zelienople.

He served in the U.S. Army in World War II, and he retired from Etna Standard in Ellwood City where he was an engineer.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Ellen Forbush Kistner, whom he married July 2, 1948; a son, Gary Kistner of Fombell; two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Cowan of Beaver Falls and Mrs. Betty Kay Wright of Harmony; two granddaughters, and a great-granddaughter.

<B>Kistner — </B>Friends of Jacob L. "Jack" Kistner, who died Sunday, May 27, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald n. volz funeral home, </B>114 W. Spring St., Zelienople. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Charles W. Woodman officiating.
