Klann

Katie Klann graduated magna cum laude from Edinboro University recently, earning a bachelor of science degree in elementary and early childhood education.While at the university, she was an active member of the Alpha Chi honors society, the Pennsylvania State Education Association and several other organizations.The daughter of Robert and Jean Klann of Butler, she is a 2003 graduate of Butler High School.———

<B>Gregory Zavacky</B> earned bachelor of science degrees in honors economics and business administration recently from the University of Pittsburgh. He graduated summa cum laude.While at the university, he was awarded a full academic scholarship, was named an outstanding senior in economics and was named a William Jefferson Scholar while participating in a study abroad program at American University in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.He was also hired for a summer internship in the finance department of Ford Motor Company.The son of Jon and Jane Zavacky of Butler, he is a 2003 graduate of Butler High School.———<BR><BR>

<B>Brynn Saeler</B> graduated cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh, receiving a bachelor of arts degree in communication science and disorders.While at the university, she was a member of the Lambda Sigma honors society.The daughter of Dick and Pat Saeler of Butler, she is a 2003 graduate of Butler High School.Saeler is currently employed as a research assistant for pediatric biomedical research at Children's Hospital and for aphasia research at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, both in Pittsburgh.She plans to pursue a master's degree in speech language pathology at the University of Pittsburgh.———<BR><BR><BR><BR><BR>

<B>Dr. Alicia Henry Larsen</B> graduated from the University of Texas Medical School.She is the daughter of Rick and Sally Henry of The Woodlands, Texas, formerly of Parker and Bruin. Her grandparents are Dean and Val Jeanne Henry of Valencia, formerly of Parker and Valjean Dunlap of Bruin.Larsen and her husband, Dr. Eric Larsen, will complete their medical residency at Scott and White Medical Center in Temple, Texas.———<BR><BR><BR><BR><BR>

<B>Darrin Richards</B> of Butler graduated from Johnson and Wales University recently, receiving a bachelor of science degree in culinary arts.While at the university, he was named to the dean's list, was named a fellow and served as a teaching assistant.The son of Duane and Mary Ann Richards of Butler, he is a 2003 graduate of Butler High School.He is currently employed at McCormick and Schmick's Seafood Restaurant in Providence, R.I. He plans to pursue a bachelor's degree in the restaurant entrepreneur program at Johnson and Wales.———<B>Tracy Allen</B> received a master's degree in social work recently from the University of Pittsburgh.While at the university, she received the Albert Finklestein Scholarship.The daughter of Gerry and Sharon Allen of Prospect, she is a 2000 graduate of Slippery Rock High School and a 2004 graduate of Slippery Rock University.Allen currently resides in Butler. She works as an outpatient mental health therapist for Family Services of Butler Memorial Hospital.
