Butler Church of the NazareneThe Children's Choir and Timbrel Praise Team will present music for the Sunday morning service at Butler Church of the Nazarene, 4410 Oakdale Road and Route 68, Butler Township. The guest speaker will be the Rev. Ron Reagle of Franklin. He will also speak at the evening service Sunday.Acting-Up Club, for students in grades one to 12, will meet from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays. Christ Community U.M.Summer worship hours have begun at Christ Community United Methodist Church, 205 N. Duffy Road, Butler Township. Traditional services will be held at 6:30 p.m. Saturdays 10:30 a.m. Sundays, and a contemporary service will be held at 9 a.m. Sundays.July 8 is the last day to schedule portraits for the new church directory. Christ's OutreachMembers of Christ's Outreach Church, Walker Avenue, will participate in a Missions Conference from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Nazarene Convention Center, 177 North Road, Franklin Township. The guest speaker for the event will be Harmon Schmelzenbach, a fourth-generation missionary in Fiji. Nursery care, teen activities and a children's program will be available.

Community LifeThe youth of Community Life Church, McQuistion Elementary School, will gather for its next meeting at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the home of the Ogles. The meeting will include a cookout and fireworks.Canned tuna is being collected Sundays during July for the St. Vincent DePaul Food Cupboard.

Covenant PresbyThe Sacrament of the Lord's supper will be celebrated at the 10 a.m. Sunday service at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 230 E. Jefferson St.The Covenant Cupboard Food Bank is requesting donations of cereal for July. Baskets to receive donations are in the East Jefferson Street entrance.

First BaptistFirst Baptist Church, 221 W. New Castle St., will host a prayer breakfast for men and boys at 8 a.m. Saturday in the Baptist Youth Center.Marty Yon, Ph.D., vice president for ministry affairs at Northland Baptist Bible College, Dunbar, Wis., will be the featured speaker at the 10:55 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday services.First Baptist Church will be among congregations participating in the annual family camp activities Monday through Saturday at Slippery Rock Baptist Camp, 130 Elliott Lane, Worth Township. The camp will involve churches from the Association of Independent Baptist Churches of Western Pennsylvania. Running concurrently with the family camp will be basketball and soccer day camps, primary day camp and music camp.

First U.M.A RECESS Ministry meeting will be held at 10 a.m. July 6 in the conference room at First United Methodist Church, 200 E. North St.Gail DiCuccio and Ed Hughes will conduct swing dance lessons at 7 p.m. July 9, 16 and 23 in Epworth Center. The cost is $20 per person, which covers all three evenings.
