A 20-year class reunion will be held July 14 for members of the Karns City High School class of 1987.

The reunion will be held from 6 to 11 p.m. at the Garden Gate Restaurant, Route 422. Cost is $20 per person or $40 per couple.

The Butler County Community Parks and Recreation Department will host and evening of blues at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Carousel Shelter at Alameda Park.The event will feature music by Blue Max Schang, who performs annually at the Chicago Blues Festival.

FRANKLIN TWP — Camp Lutherlyn, off Dick Road, will host its annual Summerfest from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday.The event will include worship at 10:30 a.m. in the Steininger Amphitheater. Food, recreational activities, music and a craft fair will be available throughout the day. The event will conclude with vespers and a bonfire at dusk. Admission is $6 per person or $52 for a family package, including lunch, dinner and activities.From 11:30 to 4:30 p.m., a quilt shop will be available. BUTLER TWP — The Butler County Federated Library System will hold activities at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 17 and July 31 at the David Drive Playground.Each event will include a story and related craft project and will last about 30 minutes.Children of preschool age should be accompanied by an adult.

MIDDLESEX TWP — The Middlesex Township Department of Parks and Recreation will host a Community Fun Day from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Middlesex Township Municipal Park.The event will include a 5K run/walk for adults at 9 a.m. and a half-mile run/walk for children at 10 a.m. Entry for each event is $20.Games, information booths and refreshments will also be available.

BUTLER TWP — The Butler Township Recreation Department will host a Fun Day at the Ball Parks Tuesday.A baseball clinic will be held from 10 a.m. to noon at the Highfield Ball Park, 229 Highfield Road. Members of the Slippery Rock Sliders will be available to answer questions and give pointers.The event is free for residents of Butler Township or $7 for non-residents.For information or reservations, call the Paul Laurence Dunbar Community Center at 724-287-5648.
