Joanne and Harold Burke

Harold and Joanne Burke of Emlenton celebrated 50 years of marriage recently with an open house at Scrubgrass Grange Hall in Lisbon.

The former Joanne Burnside married Burke June 15, 1957, at Tidioute United Methodist Church in Tidioute.

They have four children, Gina Traister of Fletcher, N.C.; Harold Burke Jr. of Boardman, Ohio; and Janet Elder and Jill Austin, both of Emlenton.

They also have 12 grandchildren.

Burke is a self-employed contractor.

Mrs. Burke is a homemaker and registered nurse. She is a member of the L.I.F.T. Women's Group.

The couple belongs to East Unity United Presbyterian Church. They are also active in World Gospel Mission — Men with Vision.
