Ruth LeFevre of Butler celebrated her 90th birthday Saturday with a family picnic at the home of her granddaughter.

The former Ruth Orf was born June 13, 1917, in Homestead. She married Marcel LeFevre in 1934. He is deceased.

She has two children, Jacqueline Watterson of Butler and Patricia Neese of Sewickley. Another daughter, Ruth Long, is deceased. She also has 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

LeFevre is retired from Jaffe's department store in Butler, where she worked for 18 years.

She is a member of St. Luke's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Saxonburg.
