Patricia and John Hoover

John and Patricia Hoover of West Sunbury celebrated 50 years of marriage recently with a trip to the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon.

The former Patricia Deal married Hoover June 15, 1957, at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Butler.

They have three children, David Hoover of Butler, Diana Moore of Chicora and Cynthia Hoover of Cranberry. Two sons, Kenneth Hoover and Daniel Hoover, are deceased.

They also have seven grandchildren.

Hoover is a retired steamfitter.

Mrs. Hoover is a retired secretary. She belongs to Slippery Rock Baptist Church.
