Helen Davis of Slippery Rock celebrated her 90th birthday recently with a family dinner.

The former Helen Lapinsky was born June 14, 1917, in New Castle. She married John Davis on July 31, 1936.

They have two children, Sally Davis of Euclid, Ohio, and John Davis of Slippery Rock.

Mrs. Davis is a former hostess for the Slippery Rock Welcome Wagon.

She is a member of Center United Presbyterian Church in Slippery Rock, Slippery Rock Women's Club and Grove City Eastern Star and White Shrine.
