Judith and John Ackerman

John "Jack"and Judith Ackerman of Kernersville, N.C., will celebrate 50 years of marriage Friday. Afamily gathering will be held at a later date.

The former Judith Renick of Slippery Rock married Ackerman June 15, 1957, at St. Paul's Evangelical and Reformed Church.

They have three children, Kimberly Ackerman of Hickory, N.C.; Shari Morris of Mansfield, Mass.; and Jacalyn Ackerman of Kernersville.

They also have six grandchildren.

The Ackermans are retired. They enjoy round and square dancing and traveling.
