Himes

Ruth E. Himes, 68, of Cabot died Thursday at West Penn Hospital.

Born Oct. 19, 1938, in Cabot, she was the daughter of Joseph and Edna (McLaughlin) Fish.

Mrs. Himes was a homemaker and a certified nurse's assistant for Nurses Housecare.

A member of the Lighthouse Fellowship in Sarver, she enjoyed cooking and baking; being a wife, mother and grandmother; and had a great devotion to the Lord.

Surviving are her husband, Gerald B. Himes, whom she married Feb. 14, 1955; two sons, Rickey Himes of Cabot and Lorry Samuel Himes and his wife, Dana, of Saxonburg; two daughters, Mrs. Bud (Faith) Flick of Saxonburg and Mrs. Jim (Roxann) Stickney of Fenelton; a sister, Edna Pearl Douthett of Butler; four grandchildren, and a great-grandson. Also surviving are Dave and Debbie Karastury, special friends of the family.

Preceding her in death were her parents, three sisters, four brothers and two infant daughters, Sheryl and Sheila.

<B>HIMES </B>— Friends of Ruth E. Himes, who died Thursday, May 3, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, 410 W. Main Street, Saxonburg. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, officiated by the Rev. Richard Shick. Burial will follow in Zion UM Church Cemetery.
