Frances and Richard Sheakley

Richard and Frances Sheakley of Bruin will celebrate 50 years of marriage with an open house from 6 to 9 p.m. June 16 at the Bruin Fire Hall. The event will be given by their children.

The former Frances Sindone married Sheakley June 15, 1957, at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church in Parker.

They have two children, Larry Sheakley of Bruin and Suzanne Minton of Butler.

They also have four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Sheakley retired from Witco in 1995, after 43 years.

Mrs. is also retired from Witco. She worked at the company for 42 years, retiring in 1996.

The couple belongs to St. Mary Roman Catholic Church in Parker.
