Majoris, Slater

An Aug. 4 wedding is being planned by Angela Majoris and Brian Slater, both of Chapel Hill, N.C.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Paul and Susan Majoris of Indiana, Pa. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Robert and Karen Slater of Butler.

The bride-elect is a 1999 graduate of Indiana High School and a 2003 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, where she earned a bachelor's degree in international business and marketing. She currently works as an event manager for IBM.

Her fiancé graduated in 1999 from Butler High School and in 2004 from Robert Morris University, earning a bachelor's degree in sports management and marketing. He works as a program director for the Carolina Sportsplex in Cary, N.C.
