Tuesday — Aluminum siding from three sides of a house along with hand tools were stolen between 9 p.m. Monday and 4 p.m. Tuesday from an abandoned home on Chicora Road in Donegal Township. Monica Rusch of Chicora owns the stolen property.Friday — Kimberly Donofrio, 45, of Valencia is charged with burglary after breaking into the home of James MacArthur on Fenelton Road in Clearfield Township. Police said Donofrio vandalized property in the home.Butler Police5:03 a.m. Tuesday — Timothy Houtz, 22, of Butler was arrested for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend, Tanya Richter, 20, during a domestic dispute at her Standard Avenue home.Richter told police that Houtz also broke several windows at the home and threatened to kill her. She was treated at Butler Memorial Hospital for bruises, pain and a broken finger.Richter was arrested later that afternoon and charged with terroristic threats, simple assault and criminal mischief. He was arraigned and placed in the ButlerCounty Prison on $10,000 bond.Tuesday — Nathanual Wong, 25, of Butler is accused of taking tools at a construction site on West Wayne Street. Police arrested the defendant after spotting him driving on South Chestnut Street.Wong is charged with burglary, receiving stolen property, theft and driving with a suspended license.3:50 p.m. Sunday — James Wilson, 23, of Center Township suffered minor injuries when the motorcycle he was driving struck a car parked on Brady Street. Police said Wilson was wearing a helmet.
8:56 p.m. Wednesday — Troopers helped rescue a would-be jumper off the Buffalo Bridge on Route 28 in South Buffalo Township, Armstrong County.Police were called after the 58-year-old woman, who authorities did not identify, was spotted on the edge of the bridge and threatening to jump.Troopers spoke with the woman for some time; however, she apparently fell over the side but managed to hang onto the edge of the bridge barriers with her hands.Police said officers rushed in and pulled the woman to safety; she was taken to ACMH Hospital in Kittanning for undisclosed treatment. The Freeport Volunteer Fire Department and Freeport Ambulance assisted police at the scene.
