SARVER — The following churches are opening their doors to the community for prayer in a program called Seeking God for Revival, meant to awaken community knowledge of Christ.

The prayer times are:

• Noon to 2 p.m. Mondays — Zion United Methodist Church, 438 Bear Creek Road, Sarver

• 8 to 9 a.m. Mondays — Gracepointe Community Church, 922 Freeport Road, Freeport

• 7 to 9 a.m. Tuesdays — Sarver Wesleyan Methodist Church, 306 Bear Creek Road, Sarver

• 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays — Sarver Free Methodist Church, 509 Sarver Road, Sarver

• 7 to 8 a.m. Thursdays — Buffalo Presbyterian Church, 678 Sarver Road, Sarver

• Noon to 1 p.m. Fridays — Biblical Life Institute, 927 Freeport Road, Freeport

• 7 to 9 p.m. the first Friday of every month, Covenant Life Church, 220 New Castle St.

EMLENTON — New Zion Evangelical Church will celebrate Youth Sunday this weekend.The event, open to the public, will include contemporary worship choruses, skits and messages.Events will begin with Sunday school at 9:45 a.m. and the regular worship at 10:45 a.m.New Zion is located along Route 38, 5 miles north of Emlenton.

CENTER TWP — The gospel group The Faith Harmony Boys will perform at 7 p.m. June 2 at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 771 Mercer Road.Admission is free, but donations will be accepted.For information, call 724-766-3200.

The Blue Army of Our Lady of Fatima will host a holy hour from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, 432 Center Ave.The Rev. Joseph Codori will be the celebrant.The group will host a Mass at 8 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St.A rosary and meeting will follow.

BUTLER TWP — St. John's Reformed Church, Route 68 opposite Agway, will launch its summer concert series at 7 p.m. Sunday with the Whetstone Band.Refreshments will be offered after the concert.
