Roos, Schnur
Jeannie Roos and Carl Schnur, both of Herndon, Va., were united in marriage at 4 p.m. March 3 at Calvary Baptist Church in Natrona Heights. The Rev. Jeff Youell officiated. A reception followed at the Parkview Banquet Hall.
The bride is the daughter of Jack and Kim Roos of Valencia. Parents of the bridegroom are Chuck and Esther Schnur of Natrona Heights.
The honor attendant was Julie Roos of Valencia. Bridesmaids included Julie Schnur of Natrona Heights, Christy Roos of Valencia and Laura Jones of Fairfax, Va. The flower girl was Rachel Roos of Valencia.
Performing the duties of best man was Tyler Kirin of Tarentum. Ushers included B.J. Jones of Fairfax, Matt Stanton of Russell and Kevin Tully of Newport News, Va. The ring bearer was Timothy Roos of Valencia.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Knoch High School. She is employed at Barros International in Reston, Va.
The bridegroom graduated in 2002 from Highlands High School and in 2006 from Penn State Erie, The Behrend College. He works for Advanced Simulation Technology in Herndon.
Following a honeymoon trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple is making their home in Herndon.
