9:15 p.m. Sunday — An unidentified white vehicle struck a parked car on South Monroe Street, and did not stop following the crash. Rebecca Houllion of Butler owns the car.2:29 a.m. Sunday — Amanda Brommer, 28, of Butler was arrested for driving under the influence on West Cunningham Street. Police also cited Brommer for not stopping at a flashing red light.9:54 a.m. Saturday — A car driven by Betty Freshcorn, 68, of Summit Township and a sport utility vehicle driven by Linda Bombara, 41, of Butler collided at South Monroe Street and Lincoln Avenue.
12:54 a.m. Saturday — Lucinda Dunlap, 26, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Evans City Road.2 p.m. Friday — Justin Carney, 29, and Christin Cousins, 21, both of Kittanning, are accused of shoplifting at the Wal-Mart store, Butler Commons. Police said the couple, who were in the store with two children, ages 5 and 4, allegedly were caught trying to steal $284 in merchandise.Carney and Cousins were arraigned on retail theft charges, and placed in the Butler County Prison. Police said the children with the couple were released to the custody of relatives.
12:10 a.m. today — Todd Watt, 22, of Prospect was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 422 at Michael's Restaurant in Franklin Township.9:35 a.m. Monday — Kimberly Platt, 27, was arrested for allegedly assaulting Morgan Engle, 31, during a domestic dispute at the couple's Moraine Drive home in Muddy Creek Township. Platt is charged with simple assault and harassment.Monday — Joshua Shuler reported that three guns were stolen between 9 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. Monday in a burglary at his Game Reserve Road home in Donegal Township.The stolen guns are a Winchester 30-06 bolt action rifle with a Tasco scope; Mossburg 12-gauge pump action shotgun; and Marlin .22-caliber rifle with Tasco scope.Monday — A 5-gallon plastic gas can containing 4 gallons of gas was stolen between 8:30 p.m. Sunday and 11:30 a.m. Monday from the Cherry Blossom Drive home of Candy Ziggler in Connoquenessing Township.12:34 p.m. Sunday — Cars driven by Justin Ortz, 24, of Cabot and Dawn Herbst, 36, of Saxonburg collided on Knoch Road in Jefferson Township. Police cited Ortz for illegally entering or crossing a road.4:45 p.m. Saturday — Sport utility vehicles driven by Terry L. Fair, no age given, of Butler and Eric W. Miller, no age given, of Prospect collided at Yellow Creek and Stone Church roads in Muddy Creek Township. Police cited Fair for an illegal turn; Miller was cited for an expired inspection sticker.Friday — Acircular saw valued at $200 was stolen between May 20 and Friday from the porch at the Arrowhead Lane home of Gerard Slupe in Donegal Township.
