Mary Catherine "Cappy" Kinsey Connelly, 83, of Fontana, Calif., died April 1 in Fontana.

Born July 31, 1923, in Butler, she was the daughter of Dr. Ernest D. and Lillian M Andrew Kinsey.

She had been a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Evans City before moving to Fontana,

Mrs. Connelly had served in the Army Air Force as a nurse during World War II and was a member of American Legion Post 219 of Evans City.

She also belonged to the Order of the Eastern Star in Fontana and the Butler County Nurses' Association.

Surviving are three sons, Jeffrey S. Connelly of Fontana, Christopher L. Connelly of Charis, Calif., and Todd M. Connelly of Fontana; five grandchildren; and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward C. Connelly; and a brother.
