Fisher

Roy Robert Fisher, 84, of Butler died Sunday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Dec. 30, 1922, in Jefferson Township, he was the son of Julius John and Elizabeth Emma Fisher.

He was a self-employed farmer and also delivered milk and drove a school bus.

Mr. Fisher was a member of the St. Luke Lutheran Church in Cabot.

He enjoyed farming, tractors and gardening.

Surviving are his wife, Barbara Ann Burkett Fisher, whom he married June 8, 1984; a foster daughter, Connie Sue Caldwell of Butler; a foster son, Michael Christopher Caldwell of Kittanning; a brother, Ralph Fisher of Cabot; and a sister, Verna Miller of Cabot. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were three brothers, Clifford, John and Elery; and six sisters, Florence Fisher, Esther Trefry, Estella Keck, Edna Smith, Elsie Frederick and Ethel Kradel.

<B>FISHER</B> — Friends of Roy Robert Fisher, who died Sunday, May 20, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Barry Keurulainen officiating.
