Norman W. "Mac" McCaslin, 88, of Lakeland Fla., formerly of West Sunbury, died at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Born July 18, 1919, in West Sunbury, he was the son of Cyrus E. and Alice May Rider McCaslin.

He retired as a shop supervisor from a vending company in Los Angeles, Calif. He also was a retired farmer.

Mr. McCaslin was a member of the IOOF.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Judy J. Jacobs McCaslin; a son, George L. "Benny" McCaslin of West Sunbury; seven grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. A sister, Elizabeth Lindey of Tampa, Fla., also survives.

He was preceded in death by a son and two sisters.
