Megan McClean graduated from Penn State University recently, receiving a master's degree in higher education administration.The daughter of Rick and Carol McClean of Butler, she is a 2001 graduate of Butler High School and a 2005 graduate of Allegheny College.McClean is employed as an admissions counselor at Penn State University, University Park.———
<B>Erin McLafferty</B>, daughter of Robert and Kay McLafferty of Butler Township, graduated summa cum laude from La Roche College, receiving a bachelor of science degree in graphic and communication design.———
<B>Evan Dusheck</B> graduated summa cum laude from Duquesne University recently, receiving a bachelor of arts degree.He was also presented an Award of Excellence in Philosophy.While at the university, Dusheck was a member of the Phi Sigma Tau honor society and served as student coordinator of the Undergraduate Philosophy Society.The son of John and Leah Dusheck of Butler, he will attend graduate school at Duquesne in the fall.———
<B>Jeffrey Smith</B> graduated from Slippery Rock University recently, receiving a master's degree in elementary education.The son of William and Betty Smith of Butler, he is a 1989 graduate of Butler High School, a 1993 graduate of Geneva College, a 1995 graduate of Indiana (Pa.) University and a 1999 SRU graduate.Smith is employed in the Franklin School District.He resides in Butler with his wife Lia Smith. They have one son.———
