Randy L. Scott, 49, of Chicora died Friday at his home.

Born Jan. 12, 1958, in Butler, he was the son of Robert E. Scott of Butler and Wanita Haley Scott of Chicora.

He loved working outdoors and fishing with his best friend.

Surviving are his fiancee, Susan Ealy of Chicora; a son, Dalton Scott at home; grandson/son, Joshua B. Ealy; a step daughter, Patricia Kerr of Butler; two step sons, Carl L. and Randy L. Ealy Jr., both of Mercer; six grandchildren; two sisters, Kathleen L. Scott of Chicora and Theresa Scott of Butler, and a brother, Keith L. Scott of Butler.

He was preceded in death by a brother and his step-father.
