6:32 p.m. Wednesday — Keith Buckley, 30, was arrested for allegedly assaulting Christa Savage, 21, during a reported dispute at the couple's South Monroe Street home. Buckley, who is charged with simple assault and harassment, is in the Butler County Prison on $5,000 bond.

Wednesday — A tan, 1991 Plymouth Sundance with rust on its rear fender was reported stolen from the Skylane Drive home of George Dietrich in Prospect. The vehicle has the Pennsylvania license plate FYA2531. Anyone with information about the vehicle is asked to call the barracks at 724-284-8100.Wednesday — A 1990 Ford F-250 pickup truck and a 2000 Kubota excavator were stolen Tuesday or Wednesday from Kittanning Pike in Fairview Township. Dick McCall Inc., of Petrolia, owns the stolen property.Wednesday — A black leather bed cover was stolen from a pickup truck at the Hardwood Road home of George Rodgers in Clearview Township.Monday — A 3-foot-by-5-foot steel drainage grate was stolen from Smith and Bullcreek roads in Jefferson Township. The township owns the grate.

11:25 p.m. Tuesday — Debra Scalise, 33, of Butler was arrested for allegedly shoplifting at the Wal-Mart at Butler Commons. Scalise is charged with retail theft, corruption of minors, driving without a license and driving with a suspended license.3:15 p.m. Tuesday — Vehicles driven by Donna Prokopchak, 69, and Rachel Saeler, 17, both of Butler, collided at Old Plank and McQuistion roads.
