Cupps

Dorothy M. Cupps, 87, of Evans City died Saturday morning at Good Samaritan Hospice House in Wexford.

Born Dec. 6, 1919, in Millvale, she was the daughter of Jacob and Anna Sirlin Moeller.

Mrs. Cupps was a retired assembler for Step-Saver Kitchens in Evans City.

She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Mars, and belonged to the Evans City and Mars senior centers and the Mars AARP.

Surviving are a son, Donald R. Cupps and his wife, Eleanor, of Edgewood, N.M.; four daughters, Mrs. John (Arlene) Karmen and Mrs. Dan (Janet) Duffy, both of Evans City, Mrs. Jim (Kathy) Voltz of Mechanicsburg and Dorothy "Dee" Hutto of Evans City; and a brother, Gerard "Jerry" Moeller and his wife, Lynn, of Troy Hill. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Cupps was preceded in death by her husband, Merle R. Cupps, whom she married on Oct. 26, 1944, and who died on Sep. 5, 1967; two brothers, James Moeller and Regis Moeller; and five sisters, Anna Leuzinger, Rita Pfennigwerth, Marie Lohret, Ethel Strafalace, and Rose Suchma.

<B>CUPPS</B> — Friends of Dorothy M. Cupps, who died Saturday, April 14, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at <B>McDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME</B>, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. John Lutheran Church, Beaver Street, Mars. The Rev. Robert Rigg will officiate. Those attending should meet at the church.
