Cole

Patricia R. Cole, 71, of Renfrew died Friday at her home following an extended illness.

Born Feb. 17, 1936, in Prospect, she was a daughter of Donald and Margaret R. Lunn Flinner.

Mrs. Cole worked at the Butler Veterans Affairs Medical Center for 25 years until her retirement in 1991. She also was a Doberman dog breeder at her home from 1990 to 2001.

She was a member of St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church in Meridian, where she was active in church activities. She was an avid bowler and golfer, and volunteered for Meals On Wheels.

Mrs. Cole is survived by her husband, Robert Cole, whom she married Jan. 24, 1976; three sons, Steve Mel Hunt of Leechburg, Earl Dennis Hunt and his wife, Darla, of Prospect, and Paul M. Hunt and his wife, Cynthia, of Leechburg; five grandchildren, Garren, Gabriel, Gretchen, Olivia and Avery; a brother, Donald "Eddie" Flinner of Prospect, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Sister Donald.

<B>COLE —</B> Friends of Patricia R. Cole, who died Friday, April 13, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday at the <B>GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church, 125 Buttercup Road, Meridian. Burial will be in the Greenlawn Burial Estates.The Bereavement Committee of St. Fidelis will meet at 3 p.m. Monday at the funeral home for a Parish Prayer Service.Memorial contributions may be made to the Visiting Nurses Association of Western Pennsylvania Hospice, 154 Hindman Road, Butler, PA 16001.
