Herbert D. Walters, 81, of Saxonburg died Thursday at his home.

Born April 7, 1926, in Sarver, he was the son of Clyde and Zora Belle Feree Walters.

He was a master sergeant in the Army during World War II, and he had been the owner of Walters Garage in Saxonburg from 1968 until 1992.

Mr. Walters as a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church in America of Butler and was a volunteer at the Seneca Hills Bible Camp.

Surviving are a son, Timothy D. (Glenna) Walters of Saxonburg; four stepdaughters, Mrs. David (Carol) Brown of Florida, Mrs. Les (Patricia) Davis of Evans City, Mrs. Glenn (Barbara) Miller of Butler and Mrs. Jeff (Joy) Korst of California; and three sisters, Mrs. Fred (Agnes) Gerner of Cabot, Mrs. Ruth McMurray of Youngstown, Ohio, and Mrs. Ned (Katherine) Ziegler of Slippery Rock.

He also is survived by two grandsons, six step-grandchildren and 12 step-great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his first wife, Elise Bicker Walters and his second wife, Frances Elizabeth Humes Graham Walters; a son, Daniel Walters, and a brother, Clifford Walters.

<B>WALTERS</B> — Friends of Herbert D. Walters, who died Thursday, April 12, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Westminster Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Dr. Curt McDaniel officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Burial Estates, Mount Chestnut.Memorial donations may be made to the Westminster Presbyterian Church in America, 420 N.
