Slupe

Shirley A. Slupe, 72, of Butler died at 11:50 p.m. Tuesday at Sunnyview Home.

Born Oct. 31, 1934, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of John and Lois Marks Stewart.

She was a friend to all strays and supported the Butler County Humane Society. She liked the outdoors, fishing and boating.

Mrs. Slupe had worked for the Butler Association for the Blind and in the dietary department at the Butler Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

Surviving are a daughter, Jackie Slupe of Butler; two sons, Paul and Ronald Slupe, both of Butler; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Slupe Jr., and a daughter-in-law, Rosemarie Slupe.
