James Martin Colteryahn, 65, of Prospect died Wednesday at his home after an illness.

Born Feb. 9, 1942, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Elmer and Alma Schafer Colteryahn.

He was an Air Force veteran.

Mr. Colteryahn was a Presbyterian.

He was a 1959 graduate of Carrick High School and retired from Johns Manville BNZ Materials in Zelienople after 30 years. He also was a farmer

Surviving are his wife, Elaine Kniess Colteryahn, whom he married Nov. 19, 1966; a daughter, Jodi Colteryahn of Florida; two sons, Jim Colteryahn and his wife, Michele, of Parkersburg, W.Va., and Kevin Colteryahn of Prospect; and two grandsons.

A sister, Mrs. Jack (Lois) Fry of Rockdale, Texas; and a brother, Elmer Colteryahn of Prospect also survive.,

<B>COLTERYAHN</B> — Friends of James Martin Colteryahn, who died Wednesday, April 11, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the <B>Jay Bryan Funeral Home</B>, 443 Main St., Prospect. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Walter Hehman of Grove City officiating. Burial will be at the Greenlawn Burial Estates, Mount Chestnut.In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the VNA Hospice, 154 Hindman Road, Butler, PA 16001.
