Reibold

Ruth Alice Weckerly Reibold, 69, went home to be with the Lord on April 2.

Born Sept. 24, 1937, in Butler County, she was the daughter of Carl and Alice Weckerly.

She grew up in Butler. While in school, she was active in 4-H and the Rainbow for Girls, and played basketball for her high school team. She graduated from Penn Township High in 1954.

At 19, she married Karl Reibold, also from Butler, and moved to California. They started a family and she stayed at home to be with her children. Ruth was involved in their lives including, Job's Daughters, Little League, softball, PTA, dance and art lessons. When the children were older, she became a teacher's aide and worked in the school district for 20 years. She was a member of the Eastern Star.

Mrs. Reibold is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, Karl. She was the loving mother of Debby, Natalie and Roger; dear sister of Martin, Duane and Delores Ann, and devoted grandmother of seven.

She had many happy memories from her Butler childhood friends. She touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed.

<B>REIBOLD </B>— A gathering of family and friends of Ruth Alice Weckerly Reibold, who died Monday, April 2, 2007, was held Saturday in Riverside.
