Mary J. Buckham, 95, of Youngstown, Ohio, formerly of West New Castle Street, died at 12:40 p.m. Monday at the Shepherd of the Valley Nursing Home in Boardman, Ohio.

Born in Butler, March 22, 1912, she was the daughter of Antonio and Teresa Spiaggi Bowman.

She was a homemaker and had worked at the A&P grocery store on North Main Street for 12 years.

Mrs. Buckham was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, the Ladies Guild and the 55 and Alive group of the church. She also belonged to the Italian Sons and Daughters of America.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Stephen (Diane) Kiktavy of Youngstown; a stepson, Edward C. Buckham of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. John (Ann) Suchonic of Fern Park, Fla.; three grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward M. Buckham, who died in 1988; five brothers, and four sisters.

Buckham, who died Monday, April 9, 2007, will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Martin Funeral Home</B>, 429 Center Ave. AMass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, Center Avenue, with the Rev. James Dolan officiating.
