Roop, Porterfield
Jennifer Roop of Daleville, Va., and Brian Porterfield of Harrisville were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. March 31 at Fincastle Baptist Church in Fincastle. The Rev. Kevin Cummings officiated. A reception followed at the Greenfield Education Center.
The bride is the daughter of Lewis Jr. and Judith Roop of Daleville. Parents of the bridegroom are Gary and Rennae Allison of Harrisville.
The honor attendant was Amber Christensen of Simpsonville, S.C. Bridesmaids included Jaime Roop of Pell City, Ala., and Bernice Maciorowski of Goodview, Va. The flower girl was Julia Roop of Pell City.
Performing the duties of best man was Luke Peoples of Harrisville. Ushers included Jason Roop of Pell City and Brandon Forrest of Butler.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of W.T. Woodson High School.
The bridegroom graduated in 1999 from Slippery Rock High School and in 2006 from St. Margaret School of Nursing. He is employed at Alle-Kiski Medical Center in Natrona Heights.
The couple is making their home in Cabot.
