The Monfres in 1957

Michael and Mary Ann Monfre of Butler will celebrate 50 years of marriage with a family dinner Saturday.

The former Mary Ann Robb married Monfre May 11, 1957, at St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church.

They have three children, Gina Stutz, Teresa Bauer and Tony Monfre, all of Butler. Another son, Michael Monfre Jr., is deceased.

They also have 10 grandchildren.Monfre is retired from Bensons.Mrs. Monfre is retired from a career in the travel industry. She is currently employed at Borders Express.
