The Cranberry Township Supervisors Thursday night:• Announced that supervisor Dick Hadley was appointed by Gov. Ed Rendell and confirmed by the state Senate to a position on the Municipal Police Officers' Education and Training Commission, representing second class townships.• Approved revised plans and conditional use approval for the Streets of Cranberry for a 11,200-square-foot retail/restaurant building at 20436 Route 19, just up from Dutilh Road.• Approved final plans for Phase I of Redmond Place, a 17-lot duplex development and one single family home on 12.85 acres at the intersection of Peters and Rowan roads.• Approved revised plans for 60 units for Phases I and II in the Georgetown Square housing developed on 11.63 acres along Freedom Road.• Approved final plans for the Allie Alligator Day Center Center, a two-story, 16,150-square-foot facility at 1071 North Boundary Road next to the On A Roll skating rink.• Approved the final conditional use for the Woodforest National Bank, a 582 square-foot bank in the Wal-Mart store at 20245 Route 19.• Approved an intergovernmental agreement with the North Hills Council of Governments, that wants to create a regionwide stormwater management plan. Cranberry Township has already adopted and implemented such a plan. The township's involvement will be for data and technical sharing.• Approved conditional use to McDonald's restaurant for the expansion of an existing drive-thru configuration at 1703 Route 228 in the Cranberry Commons retail plaza.

The Lancaster Township supervisors on Wednesday:• Agreed to receive job applications for a new road worker up until May 11• Delayed awarding road bids until their May 21 meeting• Agreed to buy a Ford truck bed for about $5,000.
