Gladys B. Uram
Gladys B. Uram, 77, of 103 September Drive died Monday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born Nov. 2, 1929, in Butler, she was a daughter of Alvie and Rachel McGeary Snyder.
She was a 1947 graduate of Butler High School. She also attended real estate classes at LaRoche College and was a Realtor for Northwood Realty's Butler office for 18 years before retiring in 1993. She formerly was a bookkeeper at Keagle's Trading Post, the Economy Grocery Co. and Friedman's Supermarkets, all in Butler.
Mrs. Uram was a member of the Trinity Presbyterian Church. She also was a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees, the Meridian Women's Club and the Michael Kosar American Legion Post 778 Auxiliary.
Surviving are her husband, retired Army Lt. Col. Peter Uram, whom she married March 20, 1954; a brother, William Snyder of Butler; a sister, Mrs. Harry (Rachel) Snyder Rumbaugh of Greensburg, and several nieces and nephews.
A son, Gary Lee Uram, died in November 1992. A sister, Ruth Ann Moser, also preceded her in death.

Cunningham St. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Trinity Presbyterian Church with the Rev. William King officiating.
