Christopher Rodgers
Christopher M. Rodgers, 22, of Butler died Sunday at the UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Born Aug. 13, 1984, in Butler, he was a son of Rex A. and Sherry A. Bresnahan Rodgers.
He was a graduate of Butler High School. He was receiving training as an apprentice carpenter at the Associated Builders & Contractors School of Western Pennsylvania in Pittsburgh and was a second-year apprentice carpenter at Bridges Construction in Pittsburgh.
He enjoyed camping and playing ice hockey. He also loved music, especially playing the bass guitar.
He was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church.
Surviving are his parents of Butler; two brothers, Bryan M. and Benjamin D. Rodgers, both of Butler; his maternal grandparents, Mike and Sally Bresnahan of Butler; his paternal grandmother, Dorothy Rodgers of Butler; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Herman "Chic" Rodgers.
<B>Rodgers</B> — Friends of Christopher M. Rodgers, who died Sunday, April 1, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 127 Franklin St. The Rev. Pierre Falkenhan, church pastor, and the Rev. James Salberg, pastor of St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church, will concelebrate.
