Ione and William Pflugh

William and Ione Pflugh of Butler celebrate 60 years of marriage today. A family dinner is planned at Runway Restaurant in Butler.

The former Ione Marshall married Pflugh May 1, 1947, at Calvary Presbyterian Church in Butler.

They have two daughters, Donna Pflugh of Butler and Jane Swartzlander of Rittman, Ohio. They also have a granddaughter.

Pflugh is retired from the maintenance department of Spang and Company, where he worked for 41 years. He is a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows and the American Legion.

Mrs. Pflugh is a homemaker.

The couple belongs to Christ's Outreach Church in Butler, where Pflugh is active in the choir. The couple is also involved with Meals on Wheels.
