Makepeace 50th anniversary
Chester and Carolyn Makepeace of Grove City celebrated 50 years of marriage recently. The couple's children will host a family dinner in their honor Saturday at Hoss's Steak and Sea House.
The former Carolyn Sterner married Makepeace April 27, 1957, in Franklin.
They have four children, Donna Kriebel of Russell, William Makepeace of Meadville, Debra Trapasso of Greensburg and Donald Makepeace of Grove City.
They also have 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Makepeace is retired from Fessler Machine Co. in Sharon.
Mrs. Makepeace is retired from U.S. Investigations Services in Annandale. She was also employed for the Office ofPersonnel Management, as manager of Isaly's Dairy in Grove City and in the offices of physicians in Grove City and Slippery Rock.
