Agnes W. Lewis

Agnes W. Lewis, 85, formerly of Prospect, died Monday night at the Trinity Living Center in Grove City.

Born March 4, 1922, in Nettleton, Indiana County, she was the daughter of James D. Walker and Maude Hawksworth.

She was a member of the West Liberty Methodist Church, a life member of the Tanglewood Senior Center and a former member of the Prospect Community Women's Club.

Mrs. Lewis was a homemaker and had worked at Troutman's, J.C. Penney and Woolworth's in Butler.

Surviving are her husband, Alfred L. Lewis, whom she married June 9, 1943; a daughter, Mrs. John (Carol) Stevenson of Ellwood City; a son, the Rev. James Lewis of Butler; and seven grandchildren. Two sisters, Betty Eisenhuth of New Castle and Sarah Welsh of Florida, also survive.

<B>LEWIS</B> — There will be no public visitation. A memorial service for Agnes W Lewis, who died Monday, March 26, 2007, will be held at 1 p.m. April 28 at the West Liberty United Methodist Church with the Rev. James Lewis officiating.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to West Liberty United Methodist Church.Arrangements are by the <B>Jay Bryan Funeral Home</B>, Prospect.
