Ruth E. Stepp

Ruth E. Stepp, 89, of the Lowrie House died at 3:35 a.m. Wednesday at the Lowrie House.

Born March 22, 1918, in Butler, she was the daughter of Walter and Mayme Shindledecker Hagan.

Mrs. Stepp was a homemaker and enjoyed music.

She was a Protestant.

Surviving are two daughters, Marsha E. Matson and Mrs., Dale E. (Karen) Dunn, both of Butler; a son, Larry G. Stepp of Beaver; seven grandsons; a granddaughter; six great-grandchildren, and two step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald T. Stepp, who died June 9, 1991; two sisters, and a grandson.

<B>STEPP</B> — Friends of Ruth E. Stepp, who died Wednesday, March 28, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. Alden Towberman, pastor of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church, officiating.
