Henrietta 'May' Kellogg
Henrietta "May" Kellogg, 79, of Plain Grove Road, Volant, died at 9:34 a.m. Monday at the Grove City Medical Center after a brief illness.
Born March 14, 1928, in Detroit, Mich., she was the daughter of William R. and Margaret Osenbaugh Garlick.
She helped on the family farm and was an avid baker and gardener.
Mrs. Kellogg was a member of the East Main Presbyterian Church, GroveCity.
Surviving are her husband, David J. Kellogg Sr., whom she married March 14, 1946; two daughters, Carol L. Burnett and her husband, Robert P., of Harrisville and Mary Lou Phipps and her husband, Ronald E., of Mercer; three sons and daughters-in-law, David J. Kellogg Jr. and Karen, D. Joseph Kellogg and Jill and M. Scott Kellogg and Theodora, all of Slippery Rock; 17 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
She also is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Robert (Patricia) Burrows of Jackson Center, Sarah Wildman of Georgia and Mrs. Allen (Laura) Clayton of Jackson Center; and three brothers, Earl (Louise) Garlick of Baden, R. Ross (Dorothy) Garlick of Jackson Center and Robert (Patricia) Garlick of Baden.
She was preceded in death by three infant grandchildren and a sister.
<B>KELLOGG </B>— Friends of Henrietta "May" Kellogg, who died Monday, March 26, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Jamison Funeral Home</B>, 117 N. Main St.,Harrisville. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Linda Kellogg C.L.P., of Coolspring Presbyterian Church of Mercer, officiating. Burial will be at the North Liberty Cemetery, Liberty Township, Mercer County.Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15205-4620.
