Day care, bank slated in Cranberry
CRANBERRY TWP — Plans for two new developments, a day care center and a bank, are expected to be approved by township supervisors next week.
The Allie Alligator Day Care Center facility would be built at 1071 North Boundary Road.
The two-story, 16,250-square-foot building will be next to the On A Roll skating rink.
The property had previously been approved for a church, but those plans fell through and the property was sold, said consultant Jack Ringheisen of Survey Tech, based in Cranberry Township.
A new bank to the region, Woodforest National Bank, will be in a 582-square-foot space within the new Super Wal-Mart off Route 19.
Woodforest has been in business for 26 years. According to the company's Web site, it was the first bank in Texas to launch a 24-hour/7-day-a-week live banking concept and has branches in Illinois, Maryland, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia.
