4:08 p.m. Tuesday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Preston Scott, 24, of Butler struck a utility pole at Route 68 and Rosehaven Drive in Connoquenessing Township. Police cited Scott for a lane violation.Saturday — A car driven by David Prosser Jr., 23, of Evans City struck the rear of another car that was parked on the side of Route 68, east of the Buhl Bridge in ForwardTownship.Police said Prosser fled the crash site, leaving his disabled car behind. He is charged with careless driving, driving in the wrong side of the road, leaving the scene of an accident, and failure to immediately notify police of an accident.Thomas Braithwaite of Cranberry Township owns the car that was hit in the crash.

Thursday — About $8,000 in undisclosed property was taken between April 17 and Thursday in a theft at the Simsick Road home of Michael Lucchetti in South Buffalo Township, Armstrong County.
